Tour Detail Itinerary

Day- 01 Yangon Arrival (L/ D)

Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, a warm welcome by our assign local guide at the arrival hall. Then, transfer to the hotel and if the room is available, directly check in. (Please note that the international check in time is 2:00 pm.)
Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant.
After lunch, visit to the most well-known and very impressive 65 meters long and 16 meters high Chauk Htat Gyi Reclining Buddha image. Also visit to Myanmar’s most revered Shwedagon Pagoda - world famous Golden Stupa where the dome shapes rises 98 meters above its base. Be impressed at the richly layered exterior of the Pagoda which the people of Myanmar had pampered with 60 tons of pure gold.
Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Yangon.

Day- 02 Yangon - Bagan (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, transfer to the domestic airport to take flight to Bagan, the ancient capital city of Myanmar Culture. Upon arrival, begin a full day Bagan sightseeing by coach such to attractions such as Nyaung Oo market; Shwezigon Pagoda - build by king Anawahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine; Wetkyi-in Guvyaukkkyi - a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scene; The Tharaba city gate, the main gate of the eastern wall, is the only one left of the twelve gates of the walled city which King Pyinbya established in 849. The Gate is interesting because it is the only piece of secular architecture left. And also visit to Lacquer ware industry.
Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant.
After lunch at local restaurant, continue sightseeing. See Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek cross; Thatbyinnyu, the highest of Bagan Temples; Damayangyi Temple, the most massive structure in Bagan. Finally, watch sunset over the suitable pagoda.
Dinner with puppet show at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Bagan.

Day- 03 Bagan - Popa - Salay by car (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at Hotel.Full day to explore the countryside around Bagan. Drive out of Bagan to visit Mount Popa, home to Myanmar's intriguing 'nats' (spirits). The 777 steps and path climb steeply up Mount Popa - an energetic climb rewarded by fabulous views from the top. Lunch at beautiful Popa Mountain Resort. In the afternoon, drive to Salay. Visit Yokesone Monastery, which is the oldest surviving wooden monastery hall, built on 154 teak posts with beautiful wood carvings decorating the outer walls. Continue to Payathonzu, a complex of three brick shrines with mural paintings from the Bagan period, and see Man Paya - a large lacquer Buddha image, said to date from the 13th century. Return to Bagan through Chauk, where you will see old Burma Oil installations ('nodding donkeys'), and along the banks of the Ayeyarwady River. Driver back to Bagan. Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Bagan.

Day- 04 Bagan (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning sightseeing begins with Htilominlo Temple- double-storied structure and noted for its fine plaster carvings; Lemyethna Temple - noted for its fine mural paintings, The Seinnyet Sisters Pagodas – standing side by side which can see the comparison of a temple and a stupa structures. Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant. Afternoon visit Myinkaba Gubyaukkyi Temple -a typical Mon style temple, Manuha Temple –the big enshrined Buddha Image in the room which King Manuha would like to show his feeling about captive life in prison; Nanpaya Temple-adjacent to the Manuha temple and can see an earliest masterpiece with its fine stone carvings; and Bupaya Pagoda, a Pyu style pagoda on the bank of the Ayeyarwaddy River.In the evening, horse cart ride for 30 minutes around the city. Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Bagan.

Day- 05 Bagan - Mandalay (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, assign guide will come and pick you up at your hotel. Then, transfer to the Nyaung U airport to take flight to Mandalay, the old and historic capital of Myanmar last Kingdom and their monarchs. Tour excursion to Ancient Capital Amarapura, where you can see and visit one of Amarapura's main sights- Mahagandayon monastery; 1.2 kilometer long U Bein Wooden Bridge and visit silk-weaving factory. Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant. After lunch, visit Maha Muni Buddha Image, handy crafts workshops, Shwenandaw Monastery - noted for its exquisite wood carvings, Atumashi Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda - known as the world’s largest book from its 729 marble engraved with Buddhist scriptures. The evening ends with a breathtaking sunset view offered at Mandalay Hill. Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

Day- 06 Mingun - Sagaing (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit the Jade Market for some shopping before proceeding delightful boat trip to Mingun where the world largest ringing bell awaits you. Sightseeing included Pahtodawgyi unfinished Pagoda, Chinthe Ruins (the pagoda’s half-lion, half-dragon guardian deities) Pondaw Pagoda, Settawya Pagoda (footprint of Buddha), Mingun Bell, Hsinbyume Pagoda (also known as Mya Theindan Paogda) rises in seven wavy, whitewashed terraces representing the seven mountain ranges around Mt.Meru – the mountain at the center of the Buddhist universe. It was built by King Bagyidaw in 1816, in memory of his favorite wife the Hsinbyume Princess.
Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant.
After lunch, excursion to Sagaing driving over Inwa (Ava) Bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy River. Tour highlights are Ywataung Village, silver smith workshop, Hsoon Oo Ponnyashin Pagoda and Sagaing Hills, where has numerous pagodas, monasteries and meditation centers known as a peaceful place for Buddhist studies. After that, visit to Innwa and pass through the ancient city walls to visit a brick and stucco monastery called Maha Aungmye Bonzan (also known as Ok Kyaung). Continue to see Nanmyin Tower and wooden monastery of Bagaya Kyaung. Return back to Mandalay.
Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

Day- 07 Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin Visit - Mandalay (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel.Transfer to Pyin Oo Lwin, formerly Maymyo, a scenic hill town in Mandalay Division by private car arrangement. Visit the sightseeing such as - National Kandawgyi Gardens (beautiful botanical gardens) where you can enjoy a wide variety of colorful flowers, Pwe Kauk WaterFall - a very pleasant picnic spot, Peik Chin Myaun Cave and also visit to Maha Anthtookanthar Paya.
Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant.
Return back to Mandalay.
Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

Day- 08 Mandalay - Pindaya Visit - Kalaw (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Mandalay Airport to take flight to Heho, the Shan State. From Heho, transfer by car (an hour driving) to Pindaya, a small quite town, enjoying scenic beauty along the country side. A sightseeing highlights include the scenic lake and Pindaya Caves, unique for the thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries.
Lunch at outside local restaurant. Transfer to Kalaw. At Kalaw, visit to Nee Paya (Bamboo strip lacquer Buddha Image) and Anglican Church. Dinner at hotel and overnight at Hotel in Kalaw.

Day- 09 Kalaw - Inle (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, transfer by car to Inle Lake, which is located 1,328 meters above sea level and is 22km long and 11km wide. Full day excursion by boat on Lake Inle and includes sights of the famous leg-rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing and village life. Visit the local floating market and Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. (Please note that the floating market is once every 5 days, but may vary according to the Buddhist Sabbath days).
Lunch at a local restaurant in Inle lake.
After lunch, continue sightseeing the weaving village of Inpawkhon and Ngaphekyaung Monastery.
Dinner at hotel and overnight at your hotel in Inle.

Day- 10 Inle - Indein Visit (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, visit to Indein Pagoda complex built by Pa-O tribes which is situated on the western bank of Inle Lake. You would visit market and small villages. A Buddha image has enshrined at a whitewashed stupa, which is on the summit of a hill. Below the stupa around the hill are cluster of hundreds of ancient stupas most are ruins overgrown with bushes.
Lunch will be served at local restaurant in Inle Lake.
Then, visit Ywa-Ma Village which is well known for its gold and silver ware and you can also see the Gold Smith & Silver Smith Workshop. Return back to hotel.
Dinner at hotel and overnight at your hotel in Inle.

Day- 11 Inle - Yangon - Kyaikhtiyoe (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, transfer to Heho airport and take a domestic flight back to Yangon. Once on arrival, directly transfer to the Kyaikhtiyoe, 190 km east of Yangon (5-6 hours’ drive more or less), by road and absorb in the rustic beauty of Myanmar.
Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant en route.
Then, proceed the way and reach Kimpun Base Camp, and take a truck to Hermit Hill through lightly wooded mountains (about 45 minutes). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in to the hotel. Then, be prepared to catch the grandiose of the moment of the magnificent and famous Golden Rock, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. An incredible feat of nature! On top of this boulder is a glided pagoda, said to hold a strand of hair belonging to Buddha.
Dinner at hotel and an overnight stay at the Hotel in Kyaikhtiyoe.

Day- 12 Kyaikhtiyoe - Hpa An (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning take the truck back to the base camp. Then proceed and drive to Hpa An, the capital of Karen (Kayin) State. The driving hours may take 4hours. Hpa An is located on the eastern bank of the Thanlwin river and the surrounding caves and mountains to explore, and the laid back atmosphere are the highlights of the area. Visit to Kawgun Cave - a natural limestone cave and you’ll find many images of the Buddha, Bayin Nyi Cave - large entrance chamber that is filled with many statues and Buddha images, Lumbini Garden with a thousand Buddha images at the base of the Mt.Zwekabin which is the great place to take a picture and then visit to Kyauk Klatt Pagoda - a small rock hill sits reflected in the waters below.
Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant.
In the evening, visit to The Shweyinmyew Pagoda - the best place to finish your day in Hpa-An and this will make for the perfect spot to watch the sunset.

Day- 13 Hpa An - Mawlamyine

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, proceed and drive to Mawlamyine, the capital of Mon State. The driving hours may take more or less only an hour. Once arrive in Mawlamyine, visit Kyaikkami Yele Pagoda - a metal-roofed Buddhist shrine complex perched over the sea, Thanbyuzayat Death Railway - the end of the line for the infamous Burma-Siam railway linking Thailand with Myanmar during the Japanese occupation in World War II , and also visit to memorial War Cemetery.
Lunch will be served at simple local restaurant.
Then, visit to the largest Win Sein Reclining Buddha Image, Kyaikthanlan Pagoda - the highest structure in Mawlamyine and stands 150 feet tall on the ridge overlooking the town center. Then, visit to Mawlamyine View Point.
Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Mawlamyine.

Day- 14 Mawlamyine - Yangon (Evening Departure Flight) (B/ L/ -)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart from Mawlamyine. On the way back, visit Zinkyaik Waterfall and Shwesaryan Pagoda (Thahton). Lunch at simple local restaurant on route. Also visit to Ancient Capital of Mon Nationals, Bago (Pegu). Sightseeing to Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Kanbawzathadi Golden Palace which was formerly the home of Bago's greatest monarch, King Bayinnaung. Arrive Yangon and directly transfer to the Yangon International Airport to take flight back to you next destination.
