Tour Detail Itinerary

Day-1 Yangon (-/ L/ D)

Arrive at Yangon International Airport, and welcome and meet with the assigned guide and transfer to hotel. If the room is available, directly check in to the hotel. (The international check in time is 2pm.) Lunch will served at outside local restaurant. Then, start Yangon sightseeing visit to the most well-known and very impressive 65 meters long and 16 meters high Chauk Htat Gyi Reclining Buddha image. Also visit to Myanmar’s most revered Shwedagon Pagoda - world famous Golden Stupa where the dome shapes rises 98 meters above its base. Be impressed at the richly layered exterior of the Pagoda which the people of Myanmar had pampered with 60 tons of pure gold. Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Yangon.

Day-2 Yangon - Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, transfer to the Yangon domestic Airport to take flight to Mandalay, the last Capital of Myanmar monarch. Arrive Mandalay and directly transfer to Pyin Oo Lwin, formerly Maymyo, a scenic hill town in Mandalay Division by private car arrangement. Visit the sightseeing such as - National Kandawgyi Gardens (beautiful botanical gardens) where you can enjoy a wide variety of colorful flowers, Pwe Kauk WaterFall - a very pleasant picnic spot, and also visit to Maha Anthtookanthar Paya. Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant. Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Pyin Oo Lwin.

Day-3 Pyin Oo Lwin - Hsipaw (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning, depending on the train schedule, taking the morning 8:20 depart train from Pyin Oo Lwin to the scenic and laid-back town of Hsipaw, passing by the famous Gokteik Bridge which was built in 1901 and is an absolute masterpiece of engineering. It is 97 meters high and goes 690 meters across. The riding hours from Pyin Oo Lwin to Hsipaw may take more or less 9 hours. Lunch on board. In the evening, arrive Hsipaw and transfer to the hotel directly. Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Hsipaw.

Day-4 Hsipaw Soft Trekking (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, start the trekking tour (6 or 7 hours walking). Walk from hotel along the rice field, over 100ft height fall, nice pool at the base, through farmer’s villages. You can enjoy the panoramic scenery of paddy, seasonal crops, mountain, river, and living style of Shan villages. You can also see the house wife home business (making bamboo hand fan, basket weaving, and cheroot rolling). Have lunch break at tiny local village mall with Shan Rice Noodle served by local guide. Return back to Hotel. In the evening, before dinner, getting around the city. Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Hsipaw.

Day-5 Hsipaw - Mandalay (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Morning transfer back to Mandalay by car. The driving hours may take 4 - 5 hours. Lunch will be served on route. Arrive Mandalay and visit to Maha Muni Buddha Image, Shwenandaw Monastery - noted for its exquisite wood carvings, Atumashi Monastery and Kuthodaw Pagoda - known as the world’s largest book from its 729 marble engraved with Buddhist scriptures. The evening ends with a breathtaking sunset view offered at Mandalay Hill. Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

Day-6 Amarapura - Mingun - Sagaing (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Firstly visit to Ancient Capital Amarapura, 11 Kilometres south of Mandalay. Walk over the 1.2 kilometres long U Bein Wooden Bridge which is situated over a large lake, named Taung Tha Man Lake. Then, visit to Mahagandayon monastery where more than a thousand young monks are accommodating. The main attraction of this monastery is the systematic manner of the monks during the lunchtime, having their meal in total silence. Also, you can visit silk-weaving factory. Proceeding delightful boat trip to Mingun where the world largest ringing bell awaits you. Sightseeing included Pahtodawgyi unfinished Pagoda, Chinthe Ruins (the pagoda’s half-lion , half-dragon guardian deities) Pondaw Pagoda, Settawya Pagoda (footprint of Buddha), Mingun Bell, Hsinbyume Pagoda(also known as Mya Theindan Paogda )rises in seven wavy , whitewashed terraces representing the seven mountain ranges around Mt.Meru – the mountain at the center of the Buddhist universe . It was built by King Bagyidaw in 1816, in memory of his favorite wife the Hsinbyume Princess. Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant. After lunch, excursion to Sagaing driving over Inwa (Ava) Bridge across the Ayeyarwaddy River. Tour highlights are Ywataung Village, silver smith workshop, Hsoon Oo Ponnyashin Pagoda and Sagaing Hills, where has numerous pagodas, monasteries and meditation centers known as a peaceful place for Buddhist studies. Return back to Mandalay. Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

Day-7 Mandalay - Bagan by flight (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, morning transfer to the Mandalay Domestic Airport to take flight to Bagan, the Ancient Capital and Birth place of Myanmar Culture. Sightseeing begins Nyaung Oo market; Shwezigon Pagoda – build by king Anawahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine; Wetkyi-in Guvyaukkkyi – a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scene; The Tharaba city gate, the main gate of the eastern wall. And also visit to Lacquer ware industry. Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant. After lunch, continue sightseeing to Ananda Temple- an architectural masterpiece resembling a Greek cross; Thatbyinnyu - the highest of Bagan Temples; Damayangyi Temple- the most massive structure in Bagan. Finally, watch sunset over the suitable pagoda. Dinner with puppet show at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Bagan.

Day-8 Bagan (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning sightseeing begins with Htilominlo Temple- double-storied structure and noted for its fine plaster carvings; Lemyethna Temple - noted for its fine mural paintings, The Seinnyet Sisters Pagodas - standing side by side which can see the comparison of a temple and a stupa structures .
Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant.
Afternoon visit Myinkaba Gubyaukkyi Temple - a typical Mon style temple, Manuha Temple –the big enshrined Buddha Image in the room which King Manuha would like to show his feeling about captive life in prison; Nanpaya Temple – adjacent to the Manuha temple and can see an earliest masterpiece with its fine stone carvings; and Bupaya Pagoda, a Pyu style pagoda on the bank of the Ayeyarwaddy River. In the evening, horse cart ride for 30 minutes around the city.
Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Bagan.

Day-9 Bagan-Inle (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, transfer to the Nyaung U domestic Airport to take flight to Heho, the Shan State. From Heho, transfer by car to to Inle Lake, which is located 1,328 meters above sea level and is 22km long and 11km wide. Full day excursion by boat on Lake Inle and includes sights of the famous leg-rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing and village life. Visit the local floating market and Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. (Please note that the floating market is once every 5 days, but may vary according to the Buddhist Sabbath days).
Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant in Inle Lake.
After lunch, continue sightseeing the weaving village of Inpawkhon and Ngaphekyaung Monastery.
Dinner at hotel and overnight at your hotel in Inle.

Day-10 Inle Lake (Indein visit) (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, visit to Indein Pagoda complex built by Pa-O tribes which is situated on the western bank of Inle Lake. You would visit market and small villages. A Buddha image has enshrined at a whitewashed stupa, which is on the summit of a hill. Below the stupa around the hill are cluster of hundreds of ancient stupas most are ruins overgrown with bushes.
Lunch will be served at local restaurant in Inle Lake.
Then, visit Ywa-Ma Village which is well known for its gold and silver ware and you can also see the Gold Smith & Silver Smith Workshop. Return back to hotel.
Dinner at hotel and overnight at your hotel in Inle.

Day-11 Inle - Yangon (Evening Departure Flight) (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, transfer to Heho airport and take a domestic flight back to Yangon.
Visit the rest of the Yangon sightseeing places - Bogyoke Market (also known as Scott Market) to browse and bargain freely among the hundreds of stalls for great souvenirs. (Please note that this market is closed on Mondays and gazette holidays).
Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant.
After lunch, visit to city center landmark Sule Pagoda, Mahabandoola Park (The park's most notable feature is the Independence Monument), City Hall and downtown of Yangon with remarkable sites of Colonial Buildings. Finally, visit to Strand Jetty - the heart of the city surrounded by several old but significant colonial style buildings which allow you experience how the Europeans influenced Myanmar history and culture. In the evening, transfer to International Airport for your departure flight to your next destination.
