Tour Detail Itinerary

Day-1 Yangon (-/ L/ D)

Arrive at Yangon International Airport, and welcome and meet with the assigned guide and transfer to hotel. If the room is available, directly check in to the hotel. (The international check in time is 2pm.)
Lunch will served at outside local restaurant. Then, start Yangon sightseeing visit to the most well-known and very impressive 65 meters long and 16 meters high Chauk Htat Gyi Reclining Buddha image. Also visit to Myanmar’s most revered Shwedagon Pagoda - world famous Golden Stupa where the dome shapes rises 98 meters above its base. Be impressed at the richly layered exterior of the Pagoda which the people of Myanmar had pampered with 60 tons of pure gold.
Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Yangon.

Day-2 Yangon – Pyay / Sri Kestra (B/ L/ D)

Early breakfast at hotel. Guide will come and pick you up at the hotel. Proceed to Pyay (known in colonial times as Prome) by car for 5-6 hours driving. Pyay’s excavated archaeological sites reflect the Pyu Kingdoms that flourished for over 1,000 years between 200 BC and AD 900. Once arrive to Pyay, firstly have lunch.
Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant.
After lunch, visit UNESCO World Heritage-listed ancient Pyu capital of Sri Ksetra (Thayekhittaya). Firstly, visit to the museum at the center of the site, then visit with ox cart to take around. Tour highlights places are huge, cylindrical, brick-built Baw Baw Gyi Pagoda, Bei Bei Pagoda, Payagyi Pagoda, royal cemetery where to see a half-dozen sandstone urns were found, leaving archaeologists to conclude this was once a cemetery for royalty. In the evening, visit to Shwesandaw Pagoda in the center of the Pyay City.
Dinner at outside local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Pyay.

Day-3 Pyay - Beikthano (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, starts sightseeing. Crossing the bridge over the Ayeyarwaddy River and get to Hton Bo Village (about 2hours drive) and take boat ride down the river to see Akauk Taung (Custom Hill) rows of Buddha images statues curved on the rock face of a cliff. Then, return back to Pyay. Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant. And then proceed to Beikthano, the oldest of the 3 ancient Centres of Pyu Civilization, located 12miles northwest of Taungdwingyi Township, Magway Region and 32 km from the east bank of Ayeyarwaddy River, in the middle portion of the arid central plain of Myanmar. Its environs reflect the culture of the Pyus. Dinner at outside local restaurant on route and overnight at the hotel in Pyay.

Day-4 Pyay - Yangon (B/ L/ D)

Breakfast at the hotel. Then, return back to Yangon. Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant on route. Arrive Yangon and have dinner at outside local restaurant. Transfer to the stay hotel and overnight at the hotel in Yangon.

Day-5 Yangon Morning Visit (Evening Departure Flight) (B/ L/ -)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the rest of the Yangon sightseeing places - Bogyoke Market (also known as Scott Market) to browse and bargain freely among the hundreds of stalls for great souvenirs. (Please note that this market is closed on Mondays and gazette holidays).
Lunch will be served at outside local restaurant.
After lunch, visit to city center landmark Sule Pagoda, Mahabandoola Park (The park's most notable feature is the Independence Monument), City Hall and downtown of Yangon with remarkable sites of Colonial Buildings. Finally, visit to Strand Jetty - the heart of the city surrounded by several old but significant colonial style buildings which allow you experience how the Europeans influenced Myanmar history and culture. In the evening, transfer to International Airport for your departure flight to your next destination.
